Tyre attachments to rims.-The detachable side flange B is secured to the main rim-part A by means of ..11.. ring C which is externally threaded to engage corresponding threads on the rim parts. In the construction shown, the ring C is of broken form the heads being connected by toggle links 12, 13 for forcibly expanding the ring. The latter may be permanently attached to one of the rim parts and may be recessed to receive guide pins 17.
