Abstract

325,571. Spriggs, W. A. Nov. 21, 1928. Norias and bucket-elevator apparatus. - An endless-chain conveyer, applicable as a pump, comprises two roller chains M passed round sprockets 11, 12, 13, a roller chain C passed round sprockets 20, 21, 22, and carriers 19 fast on spindles 18 which extend through and beyond bushes 17 of one of the chains M, Fig. 2, and are bent to form cranks 26 which are journaled in bushes 27 of the chain C. The length of the cranks C is equal to the distance D between the centres of the shafts of any of the pairs of sprockets 11, 20; 12, 21; 13, 22.
