Chain couplings.-A detachable coupling-link for chain cables consists of a main body a of C form having shouldered ends c, and a complementary part made in halves f, g adapted to embrace the ends c and to engage in a recess d in the body a, the parts f, g having overlapping portions h formed as shown either in Fig. 2 or in Fig. 5, and the parts are all secured together by a cotter i passing through the overlapping parts h and also through a transverse hole e in the body a. Specification 985/04 is referred to.
