Gases and vapours, treating with.-Aniline-dyed piece goods such as stockings, of differing qualities, are oxidized in separate rotary drums 1, the air supply 12 and steam supply 18 to which are individually controlled by valves 14, 17. When the drums are not perforated the gases, are discharged by the pipe 19. Temperature can also be regulated by heating devices in the individual air pipes 11.
