312,830. Cooper Roller Bearings Co., Ltd., and Kay, S. June 20, 1928. Securing bearing rings on shafts.- A roller bearing sleeve 2 which is divided into two or more parts is secured to the shaft 1 by end rings 6. The latter have a rib 7 bearing on the shaft 1 and a flange 10 engaging a groove 4 in the sleeve 2, and are divided into two or more parts which are secured together by screws 11 which are inclined to the planes of division of the rings 6. The joints 3, 21 of the sleeve 2 and of the outer race ring 19, respectively, are inclined to the axes of the rollers. The spacing cage 18 for the. rollers is split diametrically.
