Abstract
311,579. General Electric Co., Ltd., and Raadall, E. L. June 16, 1928. Lighting, systems of. - A multi-lamp electric lighting apparatus, for stage illumination and other flood-lighting purposes, comprises an open work stand having bars at the back carrying the lamp holders and ring-like devices for adjustably supporting reflectors with necks spaced away from the lamps. In the form shown in the Figure, a wrought-iron stand 1 is divided by longitudinal tee-section members 2 and transverse plain members into a number of small openings each provided with a reflector 5 and a lamp 6 carried by transverse bars 7. The bars 7 are formed into steps 10, 11 and into ends 8, 9 which are secured to the front of the stand 1. The reflectors 5 may be of rounded fan-tail shape and are supported by rings 14 carried bv rods 13 which are adjustably secured to the bars 7 by means of springs 15 and nuts 16. Cushioning and heat-insulating blocks 18 may be arranged between the reflectors and the stand, and annular gaps 17 between the necks of the reflectors and the lamp allow for ventilation.
