Shedding-motions; shedding-levers; shedding- tappets; tappet shafts.-The shedding-levers 6 of looms particularly for weaving multiple-ply fahrics are operated by a pair of conjugated cams 9 geared together and engaging separate rollers 8 on the levers 6 which are pivoted on a shaft 4. The rollers 8 are mounted between cheeks or covers 7 adapted to overhang the turned faces of the cam discs 9 which are secured together in correct angular positions by rods 14 and are mounted on shafts 2, 3. The inoperative parts of the cams are reduced in radius to prevent jamming.
