Abstract

306,488. Etablissements L. Chambon. Feb. 21, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Inking-apparatus.-Ink is supplied to an intaglio printing-cylinder 1, Fig. 1, by inking- rollers 6 - - 9, spread by a roller 10, and the surplus removed by one or more wiping-bands 15 passing round rollers 11, rotating in the same direction as the cylinder 1 and reciprocated longitudinally by means of a cam 14, Fig. 3. The wiping-devices are mounted on separate removable frames and may be driven at different speeds, preferably decreasing in the direction of rotation of the cylinder.
