Drying materials in long lengths. - Tubular fabrics are dried or dried and bleached while being drawn over a Lollow body 10 having a fabric stretcher 11 and a perforate zone between flanges 14 and communicating through a pillar 18. and valved pipes 20, 26 with sources of compressed air and bleaching - agent respectively. The air may be heated, and the bleaching- agent consist of heated air which has been passed through hydrogen peroxide.
