Abstract
300,277. I. G. Farbenindnstrie Akt.- Ges. Nov. 10, 1927, [Convention date]. Addition to 214,544. Producers.-In a gas producer of the kind described in the parent Specification, in which producer gas or water gas is obtained from small sized fuel which is kept in strong agitation throughout the whole depth of the fuel bed, a steam boiler A<1> is enclosed in a.n upper enlarged part A of the producer, or in a dust separator adjacent to the producer. When it is not desired to take off the producer gas, air can be blown into the chamber above the fuel bed in sufficient quantity to burn the gas completely. Specification 279,316, 296,713 and 296,751 also are referred to.
