Abstract
298,452. Gogan, F. A. April 20, 1028. Bells, outer.-Transverse slits 13, 14 are made in a belt 10 for the passage of the ends of an ordinary watch wristlet 17, Fig. 1, or of a small strap 17, Fig. 8. The wristlet or strap may be secured on the front or back of the belt, which may have a longitudinal slit communicating with one of the transverse slits 13, 14 to facilitate passage of the fastening buckle of the wristlet or strap 17. In the case shown in Fig. 8, the watch guard 19 is secured to an eye 24 integral with a clip 18, Fig. 7, having lug portions 22 which embrace the upper and lower edges of the strap 17 and a hook portion 25 which engages an aperture in the strap to prevent sliding of the clip 18.
