Abstract
350,800. Bracelets &c. BURKHARDT, E., 2, Luisenplatz, Pforzheim, Germany. Aug. 5, 1930, No. 23405. [Class 43.] A bracelet, adapted to be adjusted by a loop or overlapping parts, is provided with a fastening which consists of a transverse sleeve f carrying two hooks i, n, of which at least one is slidable against the action of a spring g, so that the hooks may be engaged in an aperture c of the bracelet. The hooks i, n are open towards the ends of the sleeve f and, as shown, the hook n is fixed whereas the hook i projects through a slot m and is mounted on a sliding element h fitted with a knob k. Alternatively, both hooks may be movable and may have the spring g situated between them. As shown, the bracelet is of the roller-link type and consists of two bands I, II each provided with a hinge d for attaching to a watch, the band I carrying a loop e through which the other band II is passed before fastening. The fastening may, however, be applied to other types of bracelets having transverse slots or depressions.
