Mattresses.-Vertical upholstery springs 5 in a mattress surface are connected to wires or-cables 4 in the plane of their upper coils by connectors having a hook or ring 1 at one end, an intermediate shank, and a pair of spaced loops 10, 12, Fig. 4, forming a cleat therewith at the other end. Two modifications, shown in Figs. 1 and 4, are described. Specification 132,579, [Class 109, Ropes &c.], is referred to.
