Abstract

629,860. Connecting upholstery springs. PULLMAN (PATENT) PRODUCTS, Ltd., and DAVIS, J. M. Dec. 18, 1947, No. 33484. [Class 52 (iv)] In an upholstery spring assembly the overlapped end turns of the springs 1 are connected together by wires 4 having hook-like portions 5 which grip both the end turn 2 and next turn 3 of a spring in each connected pair, the springs being unknotted and preferably crimped as shown. The tie wire is preferably that described in Specification 515,821.
