Liquid fuel.-Gasoline, benzine, or like petroleum products are separated into fractions one boiling above and the other below 160-170‹ C., and unsaturared hydrocarbons are dissolved from the higher boiling fraction by liquid sulphur dioxide or acetone, or a mixture of these, and are added to the lower boiling fraction. The higher boiling saturated hydrocarbons thus eliminated may be added to illuminating oil. Specification 245,072 is referred to.
