Lids.-The cam lever d for effecting the opening of a tin or box is pivoted to the body or cover portion by means of a cup c pressed from sheetmetal, the bottom surface of which is soldered or welded to the wall of the container, the edge of the cup being turned over to retain the lever in place. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 272,796.
