Self-filling reservoir pens. -The reservoir pen of the parent Specification is modified as regards the mounting of the bar 2 astride which the bifurcated sac-actuating lever 3 is pivoted, the means for retaining the plate 5 and presser-bar 8 in engagement, and the construction of the barrel. The bar 2 is forked at one end for engagement with the end of the slot in which it is mounted, and the other end is formed with a projection 10 engaging the inside of the barrel and held in place by a resilient, sleeve 11. The sleeve, which is bent up from a, piece of sheet material is formed with a depression to receive the projection 10. The outer end of the sleeve abuts against a screw plug 13 closing the end of the barrel and so constructed as to lie flush with the surface, of the barrel and conceal the joint. The plug 13 is hollow and may receive the end of the presser-bar 8 which extends beyond the end of the sac 9. In order to prevent removal of the bar 8 except through the rear end of the barrel, and to prevent it from dropping out at the nib end when the sac is removed, a projection 15, engaging with the end of the plate 5, is formed therein.
