Abstract

289,339. Steuart, D. S. S. Oct. 25, 1926. Head sets. - Telephone transmitters or receivers are supported by attachments adjustable on the scissors principle and having a handle 4, 5 and a supporting and positioning strap 22 adjusted by a spring-operated revolving drum 21. The device is operated through a wire 3 having one end 24 attached to the end of a lever 1 and the other end attached to the movable half-handle 4. The wire traverses a tubular arm 2 which is pivoted to, or rigid with, an ear-piece 12. A transmitter mouthpiece 15 is supported and positioned by an aluminium flex 14 of the kind described in Specifications 281,801 and 285,522. Specification 274,525 also is referred to.
