Abstract

289,183. Everitt, J. Feb. 1, 1927. Hooks. - A suspending device for pictures &c. comprises a wall plate d formed with a pair of offset lugs e to engage a crossbar secured to the back of the picture &c. frame i. Part of the plate d is folded over and holes f therein and in the rear portion of the plate are so arranged as to cause the securing pins g to enter the wall obliquely. The lugs e may be formed by slitting the plate from its upper or lower edge, in the latter case a modified form of cross-bar for engagement therewith is used.
