Abstract
285,775. Frandsen, A. M. K. Nov. 24, 1927. Drawings to Specification. Pressure obtained by direct action of heat.-A series of vessels are connected by valves allowing air to pass in one direction only; consecutive vessels are respectively heated and cooled by injection of water, air, &c. causing air to flow from one to the next with successive increase of pressure. The vessels may be disposed in a circle, a common rotary valve controlling the hot and cold fluid supply, through nozzles, to them.
