Abstract
277,369. Kortman, G. H. W. Sept. 11, 1926, [Convention date]. Road-traffic signals on vehicles. - A valve for a pneumatically controlled direction-indicator for road vehicles comprises a fixed member 1 having passages 7, 9 communicating with the cylinders operating the indicating arms, and a member 2 bearing against the front of the member 1 and provided with passages connecting the passages 7, 9 with the suction connection 11 or with the atmosphere to select and operate the arms. The passage 11 is formed in the pivot of the member 2, and a screw 17 enables the size of the communicating opening to be varied. According to one form of valve described, two arms may be operated simultaneously as well as separately.
