Abstract

270,802. Zvorikin, J. Feb. 11, 1926. Spindle apparatus; rollers and roller heads; thread guides. - In spinning and twisting machines a dragged bobbin 25 is freely mounted on a spindle 19 driven by a cord 23, and the flyer comprises a disc 1 with depending arms and is mounted in ball bearings and driven by a cord 11, the yarn passing from the rollers through guides 8 directly to eyes 16 on the ends of the flyer legs or through additional eyes 17, 18, Fig. 3. Springs 27, Fig. 4, engage a groove 26 in the bobbin to maintain it in position, slots 28 being pro vided in the flange of the bobbin to admit them. A ruller 34, mounted on a weighted lever 35 receives and winds up a broken end. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 177,800 and 236,810.
