Abstract

270,393. Ivitsky, V. Feb. 5, 1926. Endless - chain elevators with platform carriers.-A garage is formed with two wells 3 connected by floors 2 and an endless conveyer is disposed in the wells at each end with platforms 7 on pivotal frames 8 attached. The conveyers pass over upper and lower drums 6 and are operated to raise cars to successive floors. The platform 7 may be pivoted to swing in horizontal planes so that cars may be driven thereon or alternatively the platform may be suspended about axes parallel to a diagonal and the intermediate floors provided with suitably recessed edges to correspond. The spaces between may he used for the storage of cars or accessories.
