Abstract

267,667. Browett, C Jan. 29, 1926. Momentum apparatus.-Liquid-raising apparatus comprises a tube 2 provided at the lower end with a non-return valve 4 immersed in the liquid. The tube is reciprocated by a lever 20 or cam mechanism assisted by springs 15, 23. The upstroke is slow and the downstroke quick. Vanes 6 may be attached to the tube to prevent lateral movement.
