Abstract

Aquaria.-A device for supplying water to and drawing it off from aquaria and aerating it consists of a fountain tube F with a jet on jets Z connected to a valved siphon tube S and to a flexible tube 0 connected to a movable tank T. For filling the aquarium A the tank T is elevated and the cock V is closed. For emptying, the tank T is set below the aquarium A and the cock V is opened. Water then siphons through the tube S and air is drawn in through the nozzLe Z. The nozzle Z is made readily detachable.
