Abstract
218,045. Riddell, C. G. April 18, 1923. Disinfectant liquids, delivering.-A reservoir A is connected with a chamber G by a valved union F, and is fitted with an air inlet controlled by a needle valve D, which governs the rate of entry of liquid into the chamber G. This rate is a few drops a minute. At a certain level the chamber G is discharged by a siphon. In a modified construction, Fig. 2, the needle valve is located in the union F and the chamber is discharged intermittently by a float valve p<1>. The apparatus are specially intended for delivering disinfectants to sinks &c.
