Abstract

304,021. Hart, W. L., and Anglo- American Oil Co., Ltd. Jan. 13, 1928. Delivery reservoirs; measuring - devices.-A pump for delivering measured quantities of oil &c. comprises a delivery chamber 10 having a weir tube 11 through which the liquid is delivered in quantities measured by the pump strokes. The liquid in the chamber is kept at the weir level by discharge from a pipe 12a of small bore leading from a tank 9 when the level falls below the end of a pipe 12 admitting air to the tank. The tank is filled through a valved pipe 13, the normal delivery of the pump through the pipe 4 being shut off by a valve.
