Sleepers, metal, and securing rails thereto ; chair plates ; chairs, with separate jaws.- Rails are secured by clamps b, preferably wedge shaped, which engage the rail base and are inserted away from the rail under bridges a integral with or secured to the sleeper d or chair plate, the clamps at any point engaging either the rail or the sleeper. The material for the integral bridges is supplied by projections e on the sleeper. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states also that the bridge may be constituted by two spikes suitably arranged. Distance pieces may be used. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
