261,351. Esau, A. Nov. 10, 1925, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Thermionic generators.-A short-wave orcillation generator constructed as described in Specification 261,350 is asymmetrically designed. Thus the condenser c, shown in the drawing accompanying that Specification, may be connected to the leads at points which are nearer to one of the valves than to the other. Oscillations of two frequencies are consequently generated, with the result that, when they are modulated simultane- .ously, fading of one frequency is compensated by persistence of 'the other. Alternatively, the asymmetry may be produced by using valves having different constants, and oscillating circuits may be arranged between the grids and filaments instead of, or in addition to, those described, or between the plates and filaments.
