Oil stoves. - An oil lamp is rendered suitable for heating and cooking purposes by substituting for the lamp glass a heater consisting of a tube g shaped similarly to the lamp glass and connected to a cylindrical outer casing i by radial members h. The outer casing i is provided with vertical supports p and rests on a casing o surrounding the burner d. A stand j of skeleton form at the top of the casing i may support cooking utensils or be covered with a lid when the lamp is to be used for heating an apartment. Handles k, n which may be pivoted are provided on the oil reservoir c and casing i respectively.
