Rest-bars and support.-In a hand-truck of the kind comprising a flat platform or frame supported at the front end on wheels, and at or near the rear end on two legs independent of the handles, the legs are arranged yieldingly to support the truck from the ground. As shown, the legs comprise a bracket d secured to the frame a and having parts e, f formed with guide-holes to receive a headed plunger g, j. A helical spring h is. arranged on the plunger between the part e and an abutment on the plunger. In a modification a U-shaped leaf spring connected at its ends to the frame has its central part provided with a foot-member to rest on the ground.
