Abstract

260,392. Marshall, J. E. L. Sept. 16, 1925. Cushions.-The reversible back of a vehicle seat comprises a pivoted rectangular skeleton framing F, an upholstery pad J on each side, built up on a wire webbing foundation G secured to the frame F, and a set of springs H disposed between the foundations G to provide a spring support to both of the pads. The springs H may have their ends secured to the wire webbing G and may be interconnected at their middle points by longitudinal and transverse interlaced wires secured at their ends to the frame F. The back may be pivoted at B to the pivoted side arms C, and further connected thereto by slotted links D.
