256,462. Smith, W. Prince-, and Waterhouse, D. Dec. 24, 1925. Thread guides. - A thread guide for a yarn-winding or like machine comprises a tubular metal body E, Fig. 1, embracing a coaxial cylindrical pot guide L, slotted at M, and retained therein by the pressure of a spring O in a notch N. The top of the body E is provided with a shaped slotted guide plate J having a flared entrance K, Fig. 3, and is secured to the traversing wires D by a plate F and screw G.
