Abstract

255,715. Pivot, L., and Villot, L. Dec. 19, 1925. Winding - machines. -The bobbin is reciprocated axially to lay the yarn by a pin k mounted on a block f which slides axially in a slot e in a plate d rigidly mounted on a rotating wormwheel g, a pin h on the block moving in a stationary camslot i so that the block f is always radially disposed and moves to and from the centre. The throw of the bobbin is adjusted by adjusting the position of the pin k in the block f, and the shape of the cam is such that the reciprocating movement imparted by the cam to the bobbin is of constant speed.
