Abstract

250,010. Fletcher, G. H., and Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co., Ltd. March 30, 1925. Brush. holders. - A device for holding the rocker arm 5 in a raised position, against the action of the spring 6 which normally presses it on the brush 2, comprises a spring strip 14 attached to the arm and adapted automatically to engage a detent 13 on a spring plate 12 mounted on the brush housing 3. The detent engages a catch 15 on the strip 14 so that' either this strip or the plate 12 must be deflected to release the rocker. A finger grip 11 enables the rocker to be manipulated.
