Abstract
246,113. Scott & Williams, Inc., (Assignees of Scott, R. W.). Jan. 14, 1925, [Convention date]. Stockings and socks. -The toe of a stocking is knitted by narrowing, and widening as usual while the heel is knitted by narrowing and widening on a group of needles comprising less than half the total number of needles. A high-spliced area may be knitted on the same group. The spliced foot bottom is also knitted on the same group, with a few additional needles if desired. The shade lines show the reinforced areas and the dotted lines b show the extent of the reinforced areas in a stocking made as usual.
