Abstract
245,931. Callender's Cable &. Construction Co., Ltd., and Warbrick, E. Jan. 8, 1925. Earth - continuity couplings.-The ends of conductors 14, especially in house wiring, are secured between a pair of clamping members 8, 10, one surrounding the other, and one of the members having tapered slots 13 through which the conductorspass and by which they are clamped when the inner member 10, being inserted as shown, is pressed down within the member 8. The device may be employed at the centre of a pattrass 7 for a ceiling rose &c. The clamping members may be of dished form pressed from a metal plate, the outer having apertures 9 for the passage of the conductors. The inner member may be solid. According to the Provisional Specification the outer member may be furnished with screws that grip the conductors.
