Abdominal belts; corsets.-In figure-reducing or supporting garments, such as abdominal belts and corsets, a plurality of concentric resilient rings 10 are arranged for stiffening purposes. The rings may be stitched at 12 to a cloth covering 11, which may be stitched to the abdominal belt at 13, 14 only. A number of the reducing or supporting elements may be arranged, as shown, in a belt which is fastened by hooks 7 and eyes 8. In a modification, a single supporting device having a series of concentric resilient rings enclosed in a fabric covering is supported by an ordinary strap with a bifurcated portion.
