Abstract
616,386. Garment lacing. PEASE, B. F. Sept. 2, 1946, No. 26350. [Class 141] In a garment such as a surgical belt, corset or girdle having relatively adjustable component parts laced together, a lacing means is provided consisting of a plurality of separate lacing elements 21-26, the ends of all of which are secured to pull straps 30, 31 and each lacing element passes through an eyelet 10 in part B of the garment and through a second eyelet 10 in the adjacent part B<1>, the two eyelets being on opposite sides of the horizontal central line. The two eyelets which receive any one of the elements are equidistant from this line. A stiffening element 14 is secured in a pocket 15 adjacent the eyelets 10 in each of the parts B, Bl.
