Abstract

244,677. Dyson, J. Aug. 11, 1925. Ceilings.-Means for supporting a ceiling pendant comprises two metal tubes 4 resting in recesses 9 in metal brackets 3 secured by screws 13 to two opposite ceiling beams 1. A, tube 6, rod or the like projects through a hole 7 in the ceiling 2 and is secured by. a nut 14 in a hole, 11 in a block 5 having grooves 10 engaging the tubes 4. A ceiling plate 8 is secured in position by a tubular fitting 15 screwed into a nut 16 on the lower end of the tube 6. The fitting 15 may have a hooked portion from which the pendant may be suspended.
