Abstract

242,878. Clements, G. April 28, 1925. Fan apparatus.-A portable blower has a fan D attached to the motor shaft D<1> by a set screw D<2> and rotating in a casing C; additional fans E<2>, F<2> are carried by an extension shaft E<3> secured to the motor shaft and these fans work in casings E<1>, F' detachably connected to the casing C. A handle C' is provided and an extended nozzle C<3> is attached to the discharge pipe C<2>. The casings are held together by bolts I passing through the ears C<4>, H. Vanes E<6>, F<6> conduct the discharge from one fan to the entry of the next.
