Abstract
817,868. Centrifugal fans &c. MACARD SCREWS Ltd., and TAYLOR, E. S. W. April 3, 1956, No. 10183/56. Class 110 (1). The impeller for a radial flow fan or the like comprises spaced cheeks 21 with blades 24 supported between them, the leading ends 46 of the blades being rigidly secured to the cheeks while the trailing ends 40 are angularly adjustable between the cheeks and rigidly mounted between flanges 45 which are secured to the cheeks through holes 31 adapted to register at predetermined blade settings. The flanges may be of streamline cross-section. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 698,787.
