Abstract

240,582. Bolton, E. M. July 18, 1924. Vessels specially shaped for placing together; handles.-In frying pans or saucepans formed with straight-upright walls so that two or more pans may be used side by side, the wall of one pan is turned over at the top to form a hook a<11>, Fig. 2, adapted to be engaged over a side of a second pan to secure the two pans together. The wall of the second pan a may be beaded over as at f, Fig. 5, and formed with a slot s into which the hook k of the pan b can take, enabling one pan to be turned upon the other with a hinging motion. The pans mav also be formed with a lip at the mouth. As shown in Fig. 7, the handles of the pans may arranged to overlap so that an arched handle h embraces the lower handle h<1>.
