Abstract
208,074. Taylor, R. H. April 11, 1923. Pots. -A tea-pot or like vessel is formed with the spout-section a, Fig. 3, " stream lined " or merging into the body b without any shoulder or definite line of junction, and the body, and spout sections are separated by a partition c perforated in the centre part and extending so that its top edge is at or about the height of the lid opening, access to both sides of the partition being readily attained through the lid opening. The lid is preferably arranged inclined as shown. The partition is curved either as shown, or in the manner shown in Fig. 5, which represents a pot of fictile material. To prevent drip after pouring the spout lid may be downturned as at a<2>, Fig. 3, or an internal shoulder a<3>, Fig. 5, may be provided.
