Frequency, changing.- In an alternating current frequency changing device using a stationary core, three coils w, w1, w2 are wound on the transformer core, half the sum of the natural frequencies of the circuits w1 and w2 being equal to the natural frequencies of the generator circuit w. Thus frequencies of higher or lower value than that of the generator circuit may be obtained.
