Abstract

232,414. Gaffney, J. J. April 28, 1924. Garages; warehouses.-A garage or storehouse comprises a plurality of storage floors, and a centrally arranged partition wall 18 extending, longitudinally of the building, the floors 25 on one side of the wall being inclined in an opposite direction to the floors on the other side, so that vehicles may pass from the ground floor to any other floor under their own power. The floors are connected at their ends by horizontal gangways which pass through apertures in the wall. Fire doors 37 may be fitted to isolate each floor.
