Detachably securing receptacles to running boards.-In a combined foot mat and luggage holder hinged to the running board of a vehicle, the frame 2 is adapted to hold a rubber, vegetable fibre or other mat 3 and to be hinged to the running board uy means of lugs 13, Fig. 6 formed on one side of the frame co-operating with lugs 10 integral with fixing plates 9, means 5, 6, 7 being associated with the frame for receiving securing straps. A turnbutton 8 may be secured to the running board to hold the frame in the closed position.
