228,452. Weston, G. W. Aug. 9,1924. Removing wheels, c o l l a r s, and other articles from shafts.- A screw appliance for withdrawing pulleys, pinions, couplings, &c. from shafts comprises a three-armed frame and three hooked levers connected to the arms of the frame by three tension links. A steel frame, with the operating screw A passing through the centre, has three radial arms of channel form set at 120‹ to each other, and connected to hooked levers H by tension links I. The latter are secured adjustably to the arms by pins C. The extremities of the lexers H project through slots in the ends of the arms. To facilitate engagement of the levers H with the coupling or other object J to be removed from a shaft K, each pin C has fixed to its head a spring D provided with a laterally projecting stud at each end, one stud resting against a radial arm and the other against a tension link.
