Abstract
311,338. Scharer, C. May 9, 1928, [Convention date]. Sleeve-Links. - A sleeve-link comprises two parts 1, 8 having a pair of disc-like members 1, 4, and 5, 8, respectively, which may be parallel or set at an angle, as shown, and connected rigidly by a flat bridge piece 2 7, for engagement in the but.- tonholes in the cuffs, the two parts being adapted to be locked together by relative rotation through 180‹. In the form shown, the part 8 has a central projection with an overhanging head 10 adapted to be engaged in a correspondingly shaped aperture 11 in the part 1 and to be locked, on rotation of one of the parts through 180‹, by engagement of the head 10 with a flange around the aperture 11. In a modification the head 10 may be triangular in shape to engage in a correspondingly formed aperture in the other part of the sleeve-link. The members 4, 5 may be constructed to hinge against the bridge pieces 2, 7, respectively, to facilitate insertion of the parts in the cuff.
