207,743. Gill, H. A., (Off'N'On Chain Corporation). March 15, 1923. Hooks, closed.-A coupling for connecting antiskid chains &c. comprises a member having a hook 7 with which a link 4 of the chain is engaged by means of a lever or keeper 9 to which it is permanently connected, the keeper being pivoted at 10 to the hook. The tension of the chain retains the keeper in the closed position. Two hooks 8, 8' at the other end of the coupling provide for adjustment of the chain link 5.
